2024 has been one for the books at UNO Windows & Doors! From Auckland to Wellington and everywhere in between, we've had the pleasure of working on some incredible multi-residential and commercial projects across New Zealand. Each of these jobs brought its own unique challenges and highlights, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they turned out. Here’s a look at a few of our favourite projects this year—each one showcasing our project capability, along with our dedication to providing a quality, efficient, and innovative product for our clients.

The Albert St Townhouses project will always be a special one for us! We partnered with a great client, Andy McGowan from McMade Construction & the developer GibbonsCo to bring this project to life. What made this project so exciting? Our new delivery method is to deliver windows on pallets Watching Andy's face light up when he saw this innovative approach brought so much value to him & the project.

Kapiti

One of our favourite projects this year has to be the Kapiti Terraces Townhouses—a true showcase of teamwork, timing, and top-quality aluminium joinery! With a strict timeline to meet, our team pulled out all the stops to make sure every piece of our aluminium windows and doors arrived right on schedule, keeping the build on track and making life a lot easier for the builders on-site.

This project had a unique twist: multiple cladding types and different wall thicknesses across various blocks, making every detail count. But we love a good challenge! Our project management team worked closely with architects, builders, and all our partners to nail down the specs and confirm every selection in a smooth, systematic way. It’s that seamless collaboration that really brought the Kapiti vision to life.

Watching this large development come together was so rewarding, and it couldn’t have happened without the incredible teamwork from all stakeholders. From streamlining deliveries to perfecting every last detail, the Kapiti Terraces is a shining example of what we’re all about—precision, partnership, and creating stand-out solutions for New Zealand’s multi-residential projects.
