Everything You Need to Specify Windows & Doors, in One Place

For over 20 years, UNO Windows & Doors has supplied aluminium joinery for multi-residential and light commercial projects across New Zealand.

During that time, we’ve seen the same challenge come up again and again: architects need fast, accurate and easy access to the right specification information. Whether it’s construction R-values for H1 compliance, technical files, product guides or ongoing support, time matters.

That’s why we created UNO Hub, a New Zealand-first specification tool designed to make aluminium window and door specification easier than ever.

What is UNO Hub?

UNO Hub is an online platform created to support architects through the specification process and beyond.

It was designed to solve one of the construction industry’s biggest bottlenecks: getting accurate construction R-values sorted for H1 compliance when they need it.

But UNO Hub goes further than R-values. Inside the platform, you can also access technical files, guides, education resources, warranty information and contact options for project specification support.

For architects and designers working on multi-residential and light commercial projects, it creates a seamless way to manage project information without jumping between folders, emails, downloads and support requests. Instead, you get one platform, one point of contact, one seamless tool to handle all your specification needs.

My Projects: Fast Construction R-Values for Windows & Doors

One of the main features of UNO Hub, is the My Projects page.

This is where you can create a new project, enter your windows and doors, and generate construction R-values on demand.

Using UNO’s upload template, you can import your file directly into UNO Hub, and receive instant R-values for every window in your project. That means less manual work, less back-and-forth, and a much more efficient way to get the information you need for H1 compliance.

UNO Hub also allows you to manually upload your windows and doors, with robust customisation to your suite type, glazing selection, dimensions, raking angles, quantity and more.

Once your windows are entered, you can export a construction R-value certificate for the full project or by block, depending on what your project requires, giving you documentation for building consent on demand.

Need accurate R-values on demand for your next project?

Technical Files: Filtered to your Project

Finding the right technical file should not slow your project down.

Inside UNO Hub, the Technical Files library makes it quick and easy to find the documentation you need. Instead of searching through a long list of files, you can filter by:

    • UNO suite
    • Window frame
    • Cladding type
    • Configuration

As you make your selections, UNO Hub narrows the results until you are left with only the files relevant to your project.

From there, you can download PDFs, DWGs, Revit files and more. You can also download everything at once, making it easier to keep your project documentation organised.

For architects and designers, this helps reduce guesswork and supports more precise detailing from the start.

*Note* Revit and Archicad family files to become available in the near future, stay tuned for future updates.

Guides and Education: Resources for Smarter Specification

UNO Hub is also home to practical resources that help you better understand UNO’s products, systems and end-to-end process.

Inside the Guides section, you’ll find resources such as UNO’s architect specification guide, H1 compliance guides, care and maintenance information, and other useful downloads for windows and doors.

These guides are designed to help you understand UNO’s product range, choose suitable glass options, compare suites and make more confident specification decisions.

The Education section also includes industry blogs, brochures and UNO Minute content, giving project teams quick and practical answers to common questions.

It’s part of UNO’s focus on bringing together seamless experiences, so architects, developers and builders can access the information they need, when they need it.

Warranty & Contact Us: Ongoing Project Support

UNO Hub doesn’t stop once the specification is complete.

The platform also includes warranty information and easy contact options, helping existing customers access support throughout their project and after delivery.

Inside the Warranty section, you can find information to better understand UNO’s warranty coverage and product support.

If you need help from the UNO team, the Contact Us section makes it easy to reach out for project support, technical assistance or general enquiries. You can also send feedback or suggestions about UNO Hub, your joinery package or your service experience.

Whether you’re working through specification, documentation or delivery coordination, UNO Hub helps keep support just a few clicks away.

Feedback: Community Focused Development

UNO Hub would not have been possible without the passionate response and feedback from architects, builders, and developers like yourself who gave valuable insight into what features would make the biggest difference into your everyday workflow.

Our Feedback page continues this tradition by giving you a space to submit feedback and also interact with the feedback shared by others.

Upvote ideas you want to see, comment with further contributing details, or enter an entirely new idea that would improve your Hub experience.

UNO will select from the top most voted on ideas to help decide which features to work on next, while you can see from our developer roadmap which ideas have already begun development.
