Scope

Early Design Input for H1 Compliance at Scale

With 1,321 aluminium window and door units planned across the development, the project calls for a joinery solution capable of combining improved thermal performance with consistency at scale.

UNO has been involved during the early design process, working alongside the project team to support joinery specification and help achieve the required H1 construction R-values.

Early engagement is allowing window, door and thermal performance requirements to be considered ahead of construction, helping establish a practical joinery solution before the project moves to site.

Solution

Thermal Aluminium Joinery shaped through Early Engagement

The project will use the UNO Thermal Suite with Clear Low-E glazing, providing a high-performance aluminium joinery solution designed to improve thermal performance across the development. All joinery will also be finished in one of UNO's key colour range Matt Flaxpod Powdercoat.

The planned package includes fixed and awning windows alongside hinged, sliding and stacking doors, supporting natural light, ventilation and seamless indoor-outdoor connections throughout the homes.

Adaptable Delivery Solutions

UNO provides adaptable trailer delivery solutions for multi-residential projects throughout New Zealand. As Campbell Village progresses, trailer deliveries will be coordinated with the construction programme to support efficient handling and installation by the builder.
