The client

Supplying commercial aluminium joinery for a standout industrial project in New Plymouth 

Roofing Industries partnered with WCML and E3 Architects to deliver a modern facility built for performance and longevity. UNO was engaged to supply and install the aluminium joinery, aligning our delivery with the project’s construction programme to ensure a seamless handover. 

The brief called for a commercial glass façade that would maximise natural light while maintaining a sharp, industrial profile. In the reception, automated awning windows were specified to support ventilation, and commercial hinged doors were included for durable, easy access throughout the space.

Scope

Meeting Roofing Industries’ need for natural light, ventilation, and clean façade detailing 

This commercial build required a solution that could deliver clarity, airflow, and durability, without compromising aesthetics. Fixed glazing would provide visibility and openness throughout the space, while awning windows with electric winders enabled high-level airflow control. 

Our job was to deliver a commercial window façade that blended form and function, with joinery that looked sharp and would perform reliably over time. 

Solution

Delivering UNO Flushglaze, awning windows, and automated ventilation on time and to spec 

UNO supplied and installed: 

  • 100mm UNO Flushglaze for clean glazing lines 
  • Awning windows with electric winders for high-level ventilation 
  • Commercial hinged doors for practical, secure access 

These products were fabricated using UNO Non-Thermal and UNO Commercial suites, selected for their robust performance and refined profiles. The joinery was finished in Millennium Silver powdercoat and paired with Low-E glazing to enhance thermal efficiency. 

This project benefited from UNO’s end-to-end solution, from shop drawing support through to installation, ensuring clear communication, consistent detailing, and a smooth project delivery.
