Bascik Transport's new facility in Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North, was developed to provide a modern office environment alongside its operational transport facilities.

Designed and constructed by Calder Stewart Construction, the commercial project required an aluminium joinery solution that delivered practical performance, maximised natural light, and met accessibility and H1 compliance requirements.

UNO partnered with the project team to supply and install the aluminium joinery package, supporting the successful delivery of the new facility.

UNO supplied and installed eight aluminium window and door units using a combination of the UNO Commercial Suite and UNO Non-Thermal Suite, paired with Clear Low E glazing.

The UNO Non-Thermal Suite was selected to help the project achieve its thermal compliance requirements, while the UNO Commercial Suite provided a practical solution for the entrance and commercial glazing elements.

Working closely with Calder Stewart Construction, UNO completed the installation while ensuring accessibility requirements were achieved and the office spaces benefited from generous natural light.

For this project, UNO manufactured and delivered 8 aluminium window and door units. A combination of fixed windows and hinged doors for easy entry and exit.

Matt Flaxpod Powdercoat

The Matt Flaxpod Powdercoat finish, a popular key colour in UNO’s aluminium joinery range. A contemporary architectural finish offering long-lasting durability while complementing the building's modern commercial appearance.

Low-E Double Glaze

All windows and doors are being supplied with Low E double glazing glass, enhancing thermal insulation and energy efficiency. This glass solution helped the project achieve its thermal compliance requirements while allowing abundant natural light into the office environment.

UNO Commercial Suite & UNO Non-Thermal Suite

The UNO Non-Thermal Suite was selected to help the project achieve its thermal compliance requirements, while the UNO Commercial Suite delivered a practical and durable solution for the commercial entrance and glazing requirements.
