The project continues UNO's long-standing partnership with Silvercrest Group, following the successful delivery of Tyndall Rise and Norfolk Terraces. Working alongside Slessor Architects and Stackhouse & Firth, UNO supplied a complete thermal aluminium joinery package tailored to the project's architectural and compliance requirements.

Scope

Refining Configurations and Supporting H1 Construction R-values

The project required a high-performance aluminium joinery solution that met H1 construction R-values while complementing the architectural design. UNO worked closely with the project team to refine window and door configurations, support compliance requirements, and source a special Low-E reflective glass for the feature front door to meet the developer's design brief.

Solution

Thermal Aluminium Joinery with Technical Design Support

UNO supplied 80 Thermal aluminium window and door units, using the UNO Thermal suite finished in Matt Titania Powdercoat, a key UNO colour, and glazed with Clear Low-E glazing. The joinery package included sliding, awning and fixed windows together with hinged, stacking and sliding doors, providing a complete thermal aluminium solution tailored to the project's design and compliance requirements. 

A special door solution using Low-E reflective glass was also produced for the hinge doors to meet the architectural goals of the project.
